Kate Nunez, APRN-C, specializes in injectables, collagen stimulators and laser treatments, with a conservative approach built around natural-looking results.
We are delighted to introduce Kate Nunez, APRN-C, the newest provider at Elixir Aesthetics in Tampa. Kate’s career began in dermatology and moved steadily toward aesthetics, where a foundation in skin health meets the artistry of treatment planning.
Her work centers on two things: using filler to balance facial features in proportion to one another, and anti-aging through lasers and collagen stimulation.
What Kate Treats
Fillers and Facial Balancing
Rather than treating a single feature in isolation, Kate assesses how the cheeks, chin, jawline and lips relate to one another before recommending anything. Dermal fillers restore volume where age or anatomy has taken it away, and facial balancing uses that volume deliberately, to bring proportion back to the face as a whole. Kate places conservatively and builds gradually across visits rather than treating everything at once.
Collagen Stimulators
Biostimulators work differently from traditional filler. Instead of adding volume immediately, Sculptra and Radiesse prompt your own collagen production over a series of treatments, addressing the loss of structure and skin quality that comes with age. Results build over months, which makes them well suited to a longer-term anti-aging plan.
Neuromodulators
Botox, Dysport and Daxxify all soften the lines created by repeated expression, but they differ in how quickly they take effect and how long they last. Kate will talk through which one fits your goals, your treatment history and your timeline.
Anti-Aging with Lasers and Energy
Morpheus8 combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy to remodel collagen beneath the surface, addressing texture and laxity. CoolPeel and DEKA are CO2 resurfacing treatments for tone, texture, fine lines and sun damage, with treatment depth tailored to your skin and to how much downtime your schedule allows.
Kate is certified on the laser platforms she operates and has taken advanced training at conferences throughout her career.

Kate takes time to understand your goals, your facial features, your lifestyle and your comfort level before recommending anything. Her approach is conservative and detailed, and she would rather stage a plan across several visits than overtreat in one. Outside the Treatment Room
Kate and her husband have two young sons, so weekends are busy and usually active, often with a good amount of pool time. She recently picked up mahjong, and she loves to travel, especially anywhere in the American West with hiking involved.
